Job description

Regional Director of Agent Channel - West Coast

MetTel, a global communications solutions provider, is searching for an experienced, relationship-oriented Channel Director to lead sales and partnership initiatives on the West Coast. The role focuses on driving revenue, structuring and launching new deals for assigned partners, and building mutually beneficial relationships within MetTel.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work with partners to build and manage a sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals.

Develop program objectives and co-develop partner business plans to support revenue commitment.

Lead business planning and quarterly review processes.

Ensure timeliness and accuracy of partner forecasts.

Manage and deliver the entire process from sales through to delivery.

Utilize the sales force to support sales generation efforts.

Collaborate with current and target partners to enhance offerings and integrate MetTel products.

Coordinate with partners on account mapping, go-to-market strategy, and facilitate partnering efforts with MetTel Sales.

Drive partner marketing programs to develop incremental revenue streams.

Work closely with marketing to support partner-driven events and present solutions to prospective channel partners.

Ensure partner technical skill development for success.

Prospect new partners by effectively presenting MetTel's value proposition.

Evangelize the partnership, including joint value propositions with sales teams to foster collaboration and minimize sales conflicts.

Manage channel and sales conflicts.

Desired Qualifications

5–6 years in a Channel Sales role, with a BA / BS in Marketing, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.

Experience selling both direct and through channels.

Expertise in State and Local Government vertical sales channels.

Proficiency in using Salesforce.com to manage company data.

Strong ability to recognize, analyze, and act on go-to-market approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions, and business cases.

Deep expertise in solutions selling and product marketing for enterprise software, especially in major partnership contexts.

Cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills across customers, channel partners, sales, marketing, and technical management.

Team-player mentality, willing to lead initiatives and structure new opportunities.

Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities.

Knowledge of software or computer-related product sales with emphasis on web infrastructure security.

Salary : $130,000 – $180,000 (San Francisco Bay Area). Full-time, Director level.
