Facility Maintenance Technician (Part-time)

Job Description : We are looking for a part-time Facility Maintenance Technician responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and custodial tasks to ensure our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate will be responsible, organized, able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. As a small-medium sized business, Melink Corporation is a national leader whose products and services improve the health, comfort, and energy efficiency of commercial buildings.

The Facility Services Technician will manage the existing building functions of our Cincinnati headquarters while maintaining the facility to high standards.

Facility Maintenance Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Perform routine maintenance tasks on the building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.

Perform custodial duties, such as cleaning restrooms, offices, and common areas. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues.

Respond to maintenance requests from employees and customers in a timely manner. Manage the expectations and performance of facility service contractors and suppliers.

Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for facility maintenance. Assist with setting up and breaking down for events and meetings.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage the facilities budget. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Facility Maintenance Technician Required Skills / Abilities : Knowledge of general carpentry and repair. Strong knowledge of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of environments. Facility Maintenance Technician Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field preferred. On-the-job training offered. Facility Maintenance Technician Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods standing and walking.

Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
