CoreCivic is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant in the Corrections field. We do more than manage inmates; we prioritize care and support for individuals in our facilities. If you have a passion for providing high-quality dental care in an institutional environment, we want you on our team!
Your responsibilities will include :
- Assisting the dentist in the treatment of inmates by preparing instruments and materials for each patient.
- Ensuring all dental units and instruments are sterilized after each treatment and preparing for the next patient.
- Managing medication, syringes, and dental supplies while maintaining accurate inventory.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work area and following appropriate sanitation methods.
- Reviewing dental services to avoid unnecessary duplication of services.
- Monitoring the status of inmates for completion of required treatments.
Qualifications :
