Local Contract Level I - Endoscopy Technician - $25-30 per hour

Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract Endoscopy Technician Level I for a local contract job in Concord, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Endoscopy Technician Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract The Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for the care and maintenance of all equipment, assisting the physician during the procedure, ordering and inventorying of supplies, and assisting the Registered Nurse in the admitting, recovery, and discharge process. Endoscopy Technician Duties Prepare patients for GI procedures Sterilise equipment and the endoscope before each procedure Monitor the patient’s vital signs throughout the endoscopy Provide assistance taking biopsies and removing polyps Endoscopy Technician Requirements Basic Life Support certification Experience in a GI laboratory or environment Completion of a surgical technologist programme is preferred GAED certificate “We are an equal opportunity employer.
