About The Position
We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician to join our healthcare team on a locum tenens basis. Our outpatient practice in North Carolina, located just an hour from beautiful Myrtle Beach, offers a unique opportunity to work in a community with easy access to the coast. This is a long-term, stable assignment at a full-scope facility equipped with onsite radiology and lab testing for real-time patient care.
Practice Setting
- Outpatient facility
- Support from 2 other MDs, 1 Radiation Oncologist, 3 APPs, nurses, nurse and financial navigators, pharmacy, lab, and PET Scan
- 16 onsite infusion chairs, onsite radiology, and lab testing
Cases and Procedures
Full-scope Hematology and Oncology, with a slight emphasis on HematologyAverage of 10-16 patients per day with flexibility7 clinic hours and 1 administrative hour dailyNo procedures required
Schedule
Up to full-time, ongoing assignmentCourtesy phone call rotation (1 : 3), with minimal after-hours callsRequirements
Board-certified in Hematology / OncologyNorth Carolina medical licenseBLS and DEA certificationsTravel and Lodging
