Interventional Rad Tech - Diagnostic

Duties :

• An interventional radiology technologist will assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body.
• They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting.

Required Education :

Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program.

Required Certifications & Licensure :

Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Advanced-Level Certification from ARRT to include one of the following : ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology, ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology, ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology.
