Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opening is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services in a K-12 school setting in Fort Wayne, IN. This full-time, contract position spans the entire school year and offers an exciting opportunity for both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows to grow within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver therapy services following a 3-to-1 model : three weeks on-site providing direct therapy and one week dedicated to indirect tasks such as planning and documentation.
- Manage a caseload primarily consisting of approximately 56 elementary students.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, utilizing Indiana IEP software for compliance and documentation.
- Maintain accurate service logs required for Medicaid billing.
- Collaborate with a team of SLPs and Instructional Assistants who specialize in supporting new staff through training on IEP processes and ongoing clinical support.
- Assist with overflow evaluations as necessary to ensure timely student assessments.
Qualifications and Desired Experience :
Valid Indiana teaching certification and SLP license required.Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.Background in pediatric healthcare and school-based speech-language pathology is valuable.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.Comfort using educational software and completing required documentation.Location :
