Overview

This is a W-2 only role with a major investment bank. The role is long term and will move quickly. The client is looking for someone who can work Hybrid (50%) out of the Newport / Jersey City office.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for accelerating the industrialization of our development infrastructure — standardizing CI / CD, productionizing environments, and aligning delivery to Group IT Standards and the BNP Paribas IT Governance & ICT Risk frameworks.
Enhance the solutions independence on personal machines, ensuring that the solutions run within the Group IT Governance framework.
Participate and / or lead design and development of solutions to streamline business processes and functions.
Coordinate development, user acceptance testing and production delivery of solutions.
Centralizing and indexing the suite of applications built by Compliance Technology and Automation.
Create detailed functional documentation to support implemented solutions.
Provide day-to-day operations assistance; serve as the point of contact for identifying and solving technical issues.
Collaborate with Central IT teams on key projects.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual tasks, developing solutions that can be leveraged across Compliance.
Develop reports using technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL Server, Alteryx, etc.
Experience in BNP Paribas IT activities and organization is required.

Qualifications and Skills

Undergraduate degree in Computer Systems, IT, or a related business major (Technical certifications are a plus).

Advanced to Expert knowledge of SharePoint, including Power Automate, Power Apps and SPFx.

Ability to create custom SharePoint forms using web parts and multiple data connections.

Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, REST API, React, and / or AJAX.

Extensive experience with SharePoint Designer and workflow implementation.

Experience with reporting and analytical tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx or SQL Server.

Working knowledge of R / Python is a plus.

Strong communications and customer service skills.

Previous Compliance experience is advantageous.
