Vice President, Head of Corporate Functions Communications

Prudential is seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President, Head of Corporate Functions Communications to lead communications for its Corporate Functions, including the People Team, Global Technology & Operations, Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Legal, Compliance, Business Ethics and External Affairs. This role will be instrumental in shaping and driving a cohesive enterprise approach to communications, reinforced by senior leaders on key internal and external channels. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and a champion of compelling and innovative communications.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a recurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. Consideration will be given to exceptional candidates who are fully remote.

What you'll need :

  • 15+ years of professional business experience, with at least 10 years in communications, preferably within a global or multinational corporation.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong executive presence, adept at advising senior leaders.
  • Experienced team leader with a track record of success in a matrixed environment.
  • Collaborative, agile, and resilient in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate in ambiguity.
  • Excellent judgment in prioritization and the ability to execute upon strategic plans focusing on the highest value work that drives business outcomes
  • Proven success leading the conception, advancement, and execution of communications strategies that yield business outcomes and influence changes in outlook and behaviors.
  • Demonstrated willingness to challenge the status quo and tackle difficult issues in a constructive and outcomes-oriented manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high EQ; the ability to partner with colleagues and be solutions-oriented.

    Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $213,000.00 to $288,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
