Salary :
Summary / Objective : The Trust OfficerSpecialty Assets serves as the primary relationship manager for assigned accounts and is primarily responsible for managing specialty assets, including mineral interests, agricultural properties, and real estate holdings.
Essential functions :
- Administers assigned accounts in accordance with governing documents, applicable statutes, and policies.
- Manages and serves as the teams subject matter expert for specialty assets, including real estate, farm and ranch properties, and mineral interests such as oil and gas holdings.
- Works with clients and their legal or tax advisors on trust and estate planning concepts.
- Coordinates with Trust Department colleagues, other bank departments, clients, and vendors to ensure efficient administration and communication.
- Participates in Trust Committee meetings and contributes to compliance discussions.
- Collaborates with investment advisors to align asset management with client objectives and fiduciary standards.
- Maintains proactive communication with clients regarding account activity, performance, and recommendations.
- Identifies and resolves compliance or administrative issues promptly, informing management of risks or concerns.
- Oversees fund distributions through Trust Operations in accordance with governing documents and policies.
- Maintains required training, continuing education, and professional certifications.
- Actively participate in customer, community, and public relations activities to increase the banks visibility and enhance new business opportunities.
- Additional duties as assigned, as they relate to the position.

Bachelors degree in a related field, or a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Trust Administration, Ranch Management, or Mineral Management within a professional setting.CTFA (Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor) designation or other relevant certification preferred.Supervisory :
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization.
