Office & Parts Support Specialist – Full Time
Adecco is seeking a Full-Time Office & Parts Support Specialist to assist our client’s Service and Parts Departments with daily operations. This position offers a variety of responsibilities supporting both teams, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative and hands-on work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact by receiving and screening calls and visitors.
Coordinate communication efficiently between staff, customers, and outside contacts.
Enter and reconcile technician timecards prior to biweekly payroll processing.
Perform clerical tasks including filing, typing, scanning, and maintaining records.
Prepare and process work order jackets for all cost centers, then scan completed work orders.
Assist with travel arrangements such as hotel and flight reservations.
Support the Parts Department by learning the parts system and assisting with parts inventory and orders.
Operate a forklift as needed (training provided).
Take the on-call phone on a rotating basis (approximately once every six weeks).
Provide general support to both the Service and Parts teams as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong data entry and computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with AS400 system a plus.
Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
Willingness to learn new systems and assist across departments.
Professional, customer-focused demeanor.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Work Environment & Requirements
Office setting with moderate noise level.
Frequent sitting and computer use; occasional walking, stair use, and light lifting.
Professional dress code required.
Full-time schedule with potential for overtime and on-call rotation.
