Job description
A company is looking for a Provider Practice Coding Consultant PRN.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records and assign accurate codes in accordance with client needs
Conduct data quality reviews to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
Identify documentation improvement opportunities and coding issues
Required Qualifications
1+ year of coding experience
AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials
Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software
Familiarity with Primary Care and specialist coding
Must pass annual HIPAA examination and other assigned testing
