Job descriptionSupport access control procedures at the healthcare location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with inquiries related to access and site-specific policies. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of security-related concerns. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or site leadership regarding incidents or issues that arise during the shift. Document observations, incidents, and access control activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Healthcare Center Patrol - Full Time
As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, manage access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your responsibilities include verifying credentials, assisting individuals with access needs, and providing outstanding customer service while responding to inquiries or concerns. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
