Young Scholars Charter School (YSCS) is a free, lottery-based, open-enrollment charter school serving students from across Philadelphia in grades 5-8. The mission of Young Scholars is to provide a personalized middle school education that challenges, engages and prepares all students to passionately pursue their dreams and lead a life of active citizenship. We aim to inspire and equip every student to lead a life of achievement, service and success. Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a passionate hardworking Middle School Special Education Teacher / Case Manager to join the YSCS team. The teacher in this role will work with either 6th, 7th or 8th grade students. The Special Education Teacher in this role will provide instruction to classified students in accordance with each student's IEP and maintain a caseload of 12 15 students. The case manager will work closely with the leadership team to receive input for evaluations, IEPs, progress reports, and meetings as well as coordinate related services for students based on their individual needs.
