Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a BSN and a current CA license for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position, requiring recent staff-level pediatric cardiac ICU experience.

Responsibilities Position based in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU within a Level 1 trauma hospital

May float to the Pediatric ICU as needed

Care is focused on pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions

Work schedule consists of 3 x 12-hour shifts with both day (7 : 00–19 : 30) and night (19 : 00–7 : 30) rotations

Required to work 4-5 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

No on-call requirements

Responsible for high-acuity care of pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients

May be required to complete orientation modules pre-start, with certificates of completion needed

Navy blue scrubs required as dress code

First-time travelers are considered if all experience requirements are met

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements Active and permanent CA RN license required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

Minimum 2 years experience as a staff nurse in a pediatric cardiac ICU (float experience does not qualify)

Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital preferred

Must provide two updated professional references within the last year
