Job Description
The Project Intelligence & Sales Development Coordinator plays a critical role in building and maintaining the company’s project pipeline. This position focuses on prospecting, project research, and CRM data integrity to support the sales team in creating buying and selling opportunities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at turning raw project information into actionable sales leads.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach

- \tConduct cold calls and send outbound emails to generate initial interest.

\tIdentify and qualify new project opportunities for buying and selling activities.\t
\tMaintain a consistent cadence of outreach to support pipeline development.CRM Ownership & Data Management
\t
\tEnsure all project data, communications, and activities live inside the CRM.\t
\tKeep project pages organized, complete, and up to date.\t
\tFill in missing project information through research and direct outreach.\t
\tLog all communication and maintain detailed notes for each project.\t
\tSet tasks, reminders, and follow-up schedules to keep deals moving forward.Project Research & Evaluation

\tUse available platforms, databases, and public resources to identify ongoing and upcoming construction projects.\t
\tEvaluate projects for potential buying or selling opportunities based on company scope of work.\t
\tLocate and document key points of contact for each project (owners, GCs, subcontractors, etc.).⸻Collaboration With Sales Team

\tWork closely with Account Managers to connect relevant project contacts.\t
\tHand off qualified opportunities to the sales team with complete project context.\t
\tGenerate project-based opportunities for the company to buy or sell transportation services.⸻Project Lifecycle Tracking

\tTrack start dates, end dates, and phase progression for every assigned project.\t
\tConduct routine check-ins to stay current on changes or updates.\t
\tUpdate project timelines, scope details, and status changes in real time.Additional Functions

\tConduct targeted research on new markets to uncover emerging opportunities.\t
\tPerform regional prospecting aligned with company growth goals.\t
\tComplete deep-dive account research to strengthen understanding of customers and prospects.⸻Qualifications

\tStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\t
\tComfortable with cold calling and outbound email prospecting.\t
\tExperience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).\t
\tAbility to research independently and synthesize information quickly.\t
\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\tPrior experience in logistics, construction, transportation, or sales is a plus but not required.
