Follows assigned schedule and report for duty of the hours assigned and implement planned schedule and activities.
Provides direct assistance in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills training, retention and improvement.
Implements the behavioral support plans of participants to reduce inappropriate and / or maladaptive behaviors and to acquire alternative adaptive skills and behaviors;
Provides active support and direct assistance in participants’ participation in community social, recreational and leisure activities;
Provides participant-specific assistance, such as assistance with personal care and selfadministration of medications.
Develop and maintain programs and curriculum in activities of daily living and / or job preparations.
Develop class oriented and individualized activities for individuals that support their ISP goals and objectives.
Provide art, music, drama, and dance / movement therapy
Observe and report any changes in the individual to the clinical staff
Integrate and support in activities for daily living skills such as cooking, dress, grooming, hygiene, feeding, toileting, transferring, interpersonal skills and social etiquette skills.
Accompany and transport individuals for recreation, personal shopping, dining and other community activities.
Assist in feeding and taking individuals to restroom when needed.
Maintain equipment, supplies, and resources in training area.
Participate in professional and social activities that promote the full inclusion of people with
disabilities.
Write daily and monthly reports and individual progress notes.
Keep accurate daily documentation of activities, Fire / Disaster Drills, Behavior Support Plans
