Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Salem, MA (01970) – Massachusetts healthcare jobs Unit : Pingree 5 – Medical Surgical Telemetry Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 14 / 2025 – End : 3 / 14 / 2026) Hours per Week : 36 Shift : 12-hour nights (rotating days / evenings / nights & every other weekend) Patient Ratio : 4-5 patients per Registered Nurse Charting System : EPIC EMR Floating : Required as needed to support other hospital units Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,780 - $1,910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN License (required for all Massachusetts nursing jobs) Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry Registered Nurse experience BLS certification from the American Heart Association Proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiac telemetry strips Ability to work rotating shifts and float to other healthcare units as needed Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills Telemetry RN Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips for adult medical patients Deliver high-quality patient care in a 24-bed private room telemetry unit Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Accurately document patient information using EPIC electronic medical records Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment Float to other nursing units and adapt to changing patient needs as required Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Massachusetts and experience the best of New England living in Salem.
