As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a retail environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, so you will be equipped to respond to incidents and provide support as needed throughout the location. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols within the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.

Monitor the premises for any irregularities and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.

Assist customers, employees, and visitors by addressing their questions and / or concerns in a courteous manner.

Support access control measures and observe entrances and exits as directed to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and / or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Hold a Level III armed certification if located in Texas.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
