Lead AIX Systems Administrator

A company is looking for a Lead AIX / UNIX Systems Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

Lead patching and upgrade efforts for over 200+ AIX systems

Test patching and upgrades in lab environments to ensure performance and security

Collaborate with project management to provide detailed server information for project deliverables

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

At least 5 years of experience in AIX administration

Experience with shell scripting (ksh and bash)

Knowledge of virtualized PowerVM technology and NIM server technology

Familiarity with HPE Storage solutions and Unix concepts
