Job Description
The Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Loan Administrator is responsible for managing a portfolio of complex commercial real estate loans from origination through payoff or maturity. This role ensures the bank's interests are protected by reviewing and negotiating loan documentation, overseeing due diligence, and coordinating all aspects of the closing and post-closing process. The position requires strong collaboration with Relationship Managers, customers, attorneys, construction consultants, title companies, and internal partners across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days at one of the posted locations.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience. Must meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public. Five to seven or more years experience in CRE loan administration.
Preferred Skills / Experience
Advanced level of knowledge in all areas of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending including, but not limited to, letters of credit, tax credit transactions, borrowing base lending, multi-phased construction and transactions secured by multiple collateral properties. Strong technical expertise in the closing and loan management functions. Demonstrated ability to close complex CRE loans and manage a CRE loan portfolio. Thorough knowledge of CRE finance, law, documentation, accounting, and data systems.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
Pay Range : $81,515.00 - $95,900.00
