We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our EHS programs at our manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will play a key part in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental excellence. Your expertise will ensure our compliance with all relevant occupational health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels. You will coordinate training and activities related to OSHA and the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), driving engagement and awareness among employees.

Your responsibilities will include :
Designing and implementing training and awareness programs to promote employee participation in safety initiatives.Coordinating and leading comprehensive site EHS training sessions.Supporting employee-led safety committees to strengthen our safety culture.Managing the EHS Management System to ensure best practices are followed.Conducting inspections, investigations, and analyses to mitigate potential losses or environmental incidents.Integrating risk control measures into daily operations.Maintaining accurate regulatory compliance reporting, recordkeeping, and monitoring.Providing timely reports and assessments to management.Developing strategies to achieve and maintain OSHA VPP STAR status.Managing compliance with State Workers Compensation claims and processes.Acting as liaison between the site and all Federal, State, and Local enforcement agencies.Engaging with EHS Divisional and Corporate support teams.Promoting a positive safety culture through proactive engagement with employees on the floor.Minimum Requirements :
At least 18 years of age.Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring visa sponsorship.Bachelor's degree or a minimum of four years of relevant work experience in environmental, health, and safety.A minimum of three years of experience in environmental, health, and safety.Preferred Qualifications :
Formal training and / or at least one year of experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.Minimum one year of experience in a leadership role or supervising teams.Experience within a manufacturing or distribution facility.Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM).Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or Business.Experience leading or participating in an OSHA VPP Audit or maintaining VPP status.
