With transformative residential facilities in Malibu, California, San Rafael, California, and now within the Austin, Texas area! Paradigm has more than a decade of experience in helping adolescents and young adults address the mental health and co-occurring substance use challenges that are holding them back.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse here with Paradigm Treatment you have the opportunity to provide direct patient care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse Here With Us, You Will :

• Obtain and record vital signs for patients as needed throughout their duration in residential facility.
• Plans and delivers nursing assessments and interventions related to medication and psychiatric diagnoses of the patient.
• Completes pre-admission triage and determines the appropriateness of admission as patients begin their journey here with us.
• Administers medications to patients consistent with medication policies, practices, and standards that align with organizational standards.
• Documents in the patient's chart nursing goals, interventions, and clinical outcomes while functioning as an active member of the treatment care planning team.
• Ensures both patients and employees are protected by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
