Commercial Relationship Manager

As a Commercial Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial real estate and commercial and industrial clients. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their financial needs, and offer appropriate banking solutions. Additionally, you will analyze credit risk, structure credit facilities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Commercial Relationship Managers may also be designated as residential A&D and Builder Line Specialists based on experience and prior training.

Responsibilities

Business Development (80%)

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial real estate and commercial and industrial clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understand clients' financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Conduct thorough financial analyses and risk assessments to determine creditworthiness.
• Structure credit facilities tailored to clients' needs and in accordance with bank policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Achieve revenue and portfolio growth targets set by the bank.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with local C&F business partners to optimize support and focus on new business development.

Portfolio Management and Administrative duties (20%)

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree is preferred, preferably in finance, banking, or a related field; a combination of experience and education will be considered. 6-9 hours of accounting is required.

Employee may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time : view computer monitors, keyboarding, sitting, motion of fingers / hands / wrists, and standing / walking; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds.

Work is performed in an operational office environment.
