The IT Solutions Architect II is a career professional with knowledge of analytic principles, practices, concepts, and theories or IT Architectural designs. Ensures new solutions fit into the existing enterprise architecture from the technical, business and user perspectives. The Solution Architect is responsible for clearly communicating the technical aspects, risks, challenges, and benefits of the solution. The Solution Architect aids in the development of IT policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Champions a corporate culture that emphasizes transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, diversity and inclusion, customer service, and operational excellence.
- Responsible for leading and / or supporting Enterprise Architect activities for creating deliverables that guide the development of a portfolio of solutions.
- Provides assistance in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
- Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
- Provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of an enterprise's solutions architecture.
- Support solutions that include systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information), shared infrastructure services and shared application services.
Qualifications
Required Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems preferred)Minimum of 5 - 7 years of related experience on IT Architectural Role including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operationsExposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.Strong knowledge of leading practices for their practice areaGood understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiencesProficient at functioning effectively within a team environment, present ideas and opinions in a respective and collegial mannerStrong customer focus and employee experience mindsetKey Competencies
