POSITION SUMMARY

In this part-time role, the Online Instructor is responsible for facilitating an online classroom experience for students between 9th and 12th grade. This online classroom experience provides students with the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. By focusing on online school activities in a Christ-centered way, the Online Instructor strives to help students internalize the Gospel message of salvation in Christ Jesus and the Orange Lutheran core values of Biblical truth, integrity, innovation, excellence, and relationships. Instructors are currently needed in the following content areas :

• French
• Chinese
• Spanish
• Computer Science
• Theology
• Math
• English
• History
• Science

Reports to : Director of Individualized Academic Programs

Supervises : No supervisory duties

Hours of Work : Part-time, under 21 hours per week; varying schedule
