Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to assess project requirements and ensure accuracy. Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential cost impacts. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Assist in preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients as needed. Monitor and update project budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in estimating. Provide support to the construction team by ensuring estimates align with project goals.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have : a strong understanding of construction methodologies and cost estimation principles. Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project data effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
