Maintenance Technician

Cherokee Town & Country Club in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance-related issues and upkeep to ensure that our country club building runs smoothly. We pay our Maintenance Technicians a competitive wage of up to $28.00 / hour based on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As a Maintenance Technician, you will execute maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems and equipment. You complete daily checks of mechanical systems throughout the entire facility and make repairs. You also spend time in our restaurants, troubleshooting and repairing the kitchen equipment. Based on a set schedule, you execute preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. You also handle carpentry tasks as needed. With your go-getter attitude, you see what needs to be done and get it done. You are essential to our success!

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
• Ability to execute preventative maintenance for building systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Previous private club or hotel experience strongly preferred.

The work schedule will include day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays based on the Club's operational needs.
