Lead Software Development Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer to architect and deliver a cloud data platform.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build a modern, scalable Azure-based cloud data platform and lead the migration of legacy data pipelines

Design and develop scalable ETL / ELT pipelines and optimize Spark workloads for performance and reliability

Lead high-impact initiatives including Control Tower and Next-Gen Data Ingestion, collaborating with various teams

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software and data engineering with strong cloud and distributed computing knowledge

Deep expertise in the Azure ecosystem, including Databricks and Azure Data Factory

Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark

Experience with real-time and event-driven architectures

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
