Python Developer

Location : Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Pay rate : $60 / hr on w2.with client

(Any Visa is Fine) - F2F Interview.

Banking / Finance working experience will be a Plus.

Interview Process

Technical Screening – initial evaluation of technical fundamentals

Telephonic Interview – discussion with the Hiring Manager

Onsite Interview – final round with team and leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

6–10 years of overall software development experience

Strong background in object-oriented programming (Java, C++, or C#)

3–5 years of hands-on Python development

3–5 years of experience with Big Data technologies — HDFS, Impala, PySpark

Proven expertise in SQL design, optimization, and performance tuning

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with grid computing and large-scale data processing

Familiarity with object-oriented databases

Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) , functional testing, and CI / CD

Understanding of financial instruments and Price Verification processes

Previous experience with Quartz platform (highly desirable)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Build and maintain a Finance Data Lake on HDFS

Develop data transfer and replication tools from NoSQL datastores to the Data Lake

Design and implement ETL pipelines using PySpark

Develop REST APIs and web services for internal consumers

Collaborate through the full software development lifecycle in an Agile environment

Work closely with global teams to deliver high-impact data solutions
