Join a dedicated team in a hospital setting as an OB / GYN hospitalist. The position requires staying on-site for 24-hour shifts, overseeing labor and delivery with access to two operating rooms for C-sections and emergencies. This role involves varied scheduling and addressing both low and high-risk pregnancies. Must be licensed in Kentucky.

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care in labor and delivery, performing C-sections and handling emergencies.
  • Administer low and high-risk pregnancy care, including fetal heart rate interpretation and OB ultrasounds.
  • Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, C-section, and breech deliveries.
  • Perform surgical gynecology, including laparoscopic and operative procedures.

    • Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Kentucky medical license.
  • Board Certification in OB / GYN required.
  • Clean background with no disciplinary issues.
  • BLS and PALS certifications required.

    • Working Hours

  • 24-hour on-site shifts with varied scheduling.

    • Skills

  • Expertise in low and high-risk pregnancies, fetal heart rate interpretation, and OB ultrasounds.
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting various OB / GYN surgical procedures.
  • Ability to make timely decisions for C-sections and handle multiple births.
  • Skilled in managing both routine and complex deliveries.
