As an Outside Sales Representative , you will have the opportunity to showcase your ability to call on and provide services to Wholesale and non-wholesale customers.
Other duties to include promoting and advancing company marketing / sales programs as appropriate and requested and developing and creating new opportunities for sales through cold calls of new customers and accounts.
JOB DUTIES :
- Call on customers per the schedule / strategy created with the Store Manager or other members of the management team
- Serve retail and wholesale customers to make Auto Value the first call for parts
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of current sales and sales targets
- Conduct sales transactions with adherence to store / company policies and procedures
- Complete all related reports accurately and on time
- Participate in training programs, learning about our products, our programs and our customers
- Represent Auto Value in a professional and positive manner
- Assist other store team members as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum of three years of related experience and must have a thorough knowledge of the auto parts business and sales approaches
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all employees as well as customers, vendors and visitors
- Ability to function in a stressful environment, under substantial time pressure
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of desktop computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
