We're seeking a dynamic Automation Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.
The Automation Technician is responsible for assisting Pharmacists in the safe dispensation and distribution of medications via an Omnicell E2 or E3 robot incudes Robot inventory control and automated equipment support.
Location : Melville
Salary range : $18-$20 / hour
Schedule : Monday – Thursday 6 : 15 pm – 3 : 00 am and Sunday 10 : 00 am – 6 : 30 pm
Reports to : Fulfillment Manager

Key Responsibilities :
Maintain all equipment and systems used in the preparation and dispensation of medicationMaintain pharmacy Robot inventory assuring that the overflow stock, fill stations and medication-dispensing robot are adequately stocked with medicationUnderstand and properly execute rejected cards reintroduction into inventory and send labels from MTS / Omnicell to floor fill stationsPrepare medication cassettes for robotic fillingDeliver completed medication blister cards to PV2 pharmacist timely and accuratelyClean all Robot workstations, counter tops, equipment, storage bins, storage areas and storage shelves as needed as directedConduct a thorough check for expired medications in Robot area monthly and as assignedTriage Robot failure and reports for supervisor and assists with maintenanceAll other duties as assignedMust adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance OfficerQualifications :
High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum two years of pharmacy experience preferredPharmacy technician certification is a plus (in good standing)Skills & Abilities :
Ability to read and perform intermediate math and reading computationsStrong problem-solving skillsDetail orientatedEffective communicatorQuick and independent learnerFlexibility to work overtime, holidays and weekends as neededMust be trained in and knowledgeable of policies and procedures pertaining to hazardous waste and hazardous materials and maintain qualifications applicable to assigned work.Ability to lift and / or move up to 25 poundsClarest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
