Description : New Tech Global is seeking a Site Assessment & Remediation Group Manager for an Environmental Construction company in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a direct hire position offering a base salary of $85-125k
General Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor all projects within the department to ensure timely execution, adherence to client requirements, and compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Oversee preparation of proposals and cost estimates to ensure proper scoping, manpower allocation, and pricing to achieve desired profitability.
Manage daily department operations including staff training, development, performance reviews, utilization of equipment and facilities, safety oversight, quality of work, timely delivery of services, and compliance with policies.
Participate in business development activities to identify, pursue, win, and execute project opportunities, and build and maintain client relationships.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare proposals and cost estimates for projects.
Support business and client development activities.
Assist in developing and managing employee staffing plans, recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
Contribute to preparing and executing the annual business plan for the department or specialty service group.
Oversee and manage key metrics including revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing and collections, and project profitability.
Identify and manage project-related risks; understand potential issues and implement measures to protect the company.
Lead safety initiatives and ensure team compliance with safety rules and guidelines; promote pre-task planning.
Monitor and improve project quality; ensure consistent quality standards for projects and proposals.
Apply experience in environmental due diligence (Phase I / II ESAs), site investigations, and remediation involving various contaminants.
Maintain working knowledge of applicable ASTM standards, state rules and regulations.
Maintain professional relationships with regulators, environmental attorneys, and clients.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology) with 5 years of relevant experience , or a minimum of 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history.

Preferred Certification
Certification or licensure in the candidate’s field of expertise, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred.
Authorized project reviewer status in relevant field preferred.
