Temporary Product Counsel (UDAAP)

A company is looking for a Temporary Product Counsel (UDAAP) to provide legal guidance on consumer protection issues in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance on consumer protection issues, focusing on Reg E and Reg Z dispute-related work

Develop relationships with business partners and offer legal advice on product developments

Draft and review policies, procedures, and customer communications related to disputes

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in consumer protection issues, particularly disputes

Expertise in financial services consumer protection laws (Regulation Z, Regulation E, UDAAP, UDAP)

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in at least one state bar

Beneficial experience in fraud and payments issues
