Job description

Position : Jr. Estimator / Takeoff Technician

Location : Nashville, TN

Job Type : Full-Time | Direct Hire

Industry : Construction

Relocation : Package Available for Qualified Candidates

Our client is a growing concrete construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. They provide end-to-end concrete solutions built on craftsmanship, reliability, and long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive bid proposals for concrete projects.
  • Review architectural and structural drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Perform accurate material quantity takeoffs for concrete, formwork, rebar, etc.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to support the bid process.
  • Help maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing, and vendor records.
  • Participate in job site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed.

Qualifications :

  • 03 years of experience in estimating, takeoffs, or construction-related work.
  • Degree or coursework in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and build a lasting career in the construction industry.
