Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff at the location. Complete required documentation and / or incident reports accurately and in a timely manner. Support emergency response efforts as needed, following all site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Government Center Patrol - Full Time
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of designated areas, staying visible to provide a reassuring presence, and offering exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
