Pest Controller For Grounds Maintenance Contract

Global Management Services, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking a qualified Pest Controller for Grounds Maintenance Contract at Denver Federal Center. Hourly rate of pay : $27.54, plus Health & Welfare.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Inspect turf, trees, ornamental shrubs and premises for signs of pests or infestation
• Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
• Limited use of baits and set traps to remove or kill pests
• Apply pesticides around buildings, in turf areas, native grass areas, right of ways, various trees, and ornamental shrubs
• Design and carry out contract pest management plan
• Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building
• Record keeping, entry of records to be entered into NEMMS

Additional Qualifying Factors :

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to Federal Property. Must have reliable transportation to / from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to Federal Property.
