Travel Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse - $1,971 per week

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• Patient ratios of 1 : 1-2 in the Cardiac ICU (CICU)
• Every other weekend requirement (12 shifts during contract)
• May be placed on call for low census but no additional call shifts required
• Float to MICU or other departments as needed when census is low
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi State / Compact RN license required
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• CRRT-Prismax equipment experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system used
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adults and geriatrics with primarily cardiac diagnoses (CHF, STEMI)
• Unit takes MICU / SICU overflow with variety of patient diagnoses
• Work with special equipment including FloTrac, Impella CP / RP / 5.5, IABP, CRRT-Prismax
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, cardiac drips titration, ECMO care
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours)
• Downtown parking pass provided at no cost
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Block scheduling requires manager approval based on unit needs
• Up to 2 pre-approved time off requests allowed
