POSITION SUMMARY :

Under the direction of the department Supervisor, the Electroplater is responsible for performing the plating of metallic parts to

enhance corrosion protection and / or abrasion resistance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Plans processes and sequence of the operation to complete plating.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches or specification to set the voltage and amperage required.
• Dips the metallic parts into acid tanks to clean parts.
• Dips the metallic parts into finishing tanks and monitors parts.
• Performs visual inspection of plated parts as well as inspection tools to ensure uniform plating on all surface areas are completed.
• Racks parts before and after plating.
• Logs data into computer for completed parts and processes.
• Adheres to safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :

ITAR REQUIREMENT :

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the
