Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic in Elgin, IL

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will :

Perform machine and building repair, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep so the facility and equipment are in good operational condition. Install new equipment or upgrades to equipment. Keep equipment and facility up to all safety and environmental codes, both state and federal. Schedule outside services and interact with outside contracts.

Electrical Systems

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and components using diagnostic tools such as voltage meters, oscilloscopes, and ammeters.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, symbols, and advanced schematics.
• Understand and work with P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) drawings.

Mechanical Systems

Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Fabrication & Machining

HVAC Systems

Project Work

Team Collaboration

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

Salary : $28.00-$36.00 / hr
