Job Summary
Cemstone is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Waite Park plant. The Customer Service Representative provides effective customer service and support through in-depth knowledge of company products, programs and services.
- Talk with customers by phone and enter data into computer system.
- Solicit future orders from customers and enter order into computer system.
- Negotiate with customers acceptable delivery times to prevent lost orders.
- Entering orders, schedule into system, get travel times, and reading order back to customer to confirm the information is correct.
- Knowledge of products and pricing.
- Document customer complaints and forward to appropriate Manager and / or Sales Representative.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED).
- Three to five years related customer service experience, and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer skills for entering orders.
- Knowledge of the surrounding areas.
- Communicate in a positive and helpful manner with a variety of customers.
- Ability to read and understand maps.
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work overtime in the spring, summer, fall, and half days on Saturdays as needed.
- Overtime may be required as business dictates
