Temporary Human Resources Administrative Assistant - Distribution Center

The Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR team for the Distribution Center. The responsibilities include assisting the HR team with all functions related to record-keeping and onboarding of future employees and other ad hoc tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and a high level of confidentiality. Ultimately, you will gain HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and enhancing all HR functions and contributing to a positive workplace. This is a temporary role with an expected duration of up to 6 months.
The Temp HR Administrative Assistant reports directly to the EVP Human Resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Be a TPS brand ambassadorFacilitate and manage the onboarding process, including I-9 and E-Verify, for all Corporate and Store new hires and rehires within ADP Workforce Now OnboardingCommunicate effectively, professionally and timely with team members and managers regarding topics including, but not limited to, hiring and onboardingAssist with tracking receipt of offer and change lettersDraft and send communication out to employees on behalf of the HR teamCreate and update spreadsheets and templates as neededAssist the HR Coordinator with the administrative functions of the termination process - includes, but is not limited to, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates to employee records, preparing and maintaining a termination tracking spreadsheet, preparing accrual payouts, communicating with managers, and preparing and processing seasonal termination import spreadsheetsMonitor the Work Opportunity Tax Credit programScan, file, organize, and maintain HR documents, both physical and electronicAdditional administrative tasks and projects as neededJOB REQUIREMENTS :
