Telemetry RN

Telemetry (RN)
4x12hrs Nights / 13wk / ASAP Start

Must have: Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience. Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips.

Advanced skills needed: Must have experience with post cardiac procedural care (Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent Pacemaker placements). Must be able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.

Procedures performed on unit: IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, Chest Tube maintenance, Temporary Pacemakers, Foley insertions.

Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
