Logistics Administrator - Tukwila, WA
Triton Technical is an IT and Audio / Video integration company that designs and deploys complex integrated systems for the private yacht industry. We have a high-energy, fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment and are looking to add an organized and motivated Logistics Administrator to our team.
Position Summary
The Logistics Administrator supports Triton Technical's operations by managing and coordinating logistics and administrative tasks to ensure smooth internal processes and timely delivery of materials and equipment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with 1-2 years of logistics or administrative experience who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update order status databases; follow up with vendors to ensure accurate delivery timelines.
- Receive and log all incoming shipments, including mail, parcels, and freight deliveries.
- Prepare domestic and international shipping documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Track and manage inventory, including company, project, and sales items; assist with audits as needed.
- Support purchasing activities by sourcing parts, requesting quotes, and generating purchase orders.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and car rentals for company personnel.
- Answer and route calls on a multiline phone system with professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist with report generation, data entry, and administrative documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation (one weekend per month) to support time-sensitive logistical needs.
- Perform additional duties and assist with office operations as directed by management.
Required Experience and Skills
1-2 years of experience in logistics, administration, or a related field.Experience with order tracking, inventory control, or shipping documentation.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and collaboratively.Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.Personality Traits
