The Senior Reservoir Engineer is pivotal in optimizing field development planning activities and recovery strategies for a multibillion-dollar development project. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to generate and execute a Piceance Basin development plan to optimize reservoir performance and recovery strategies.
• Analyze geological, geophysical, and reservoir data to develop effective recovery strategies.
• Performing reservoir characterization activities involving production analysis, material balance, rate-transient analysis, decline curve analysis, and data analytics (MVA and / or Machine Learning)
• Production forecasting and Type Curve construction.
• Work diligently with the team to optimize well spacing, perforated intervals, and completion designs.
• Provide engineering support for drilling, completions, and production operations.
• Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies and methods to improve recovery and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.
