Bakery Production Team Member (Food Preparation) - Part Time
Base pay range : $17.00 / hr - $25.40 / hr. This range is provided by Whole Foods Market. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
- Performs all functions relating to preparation, counter service, and stocking of product. Decorates and finishes cakes and pies.
- Produces quality breads and pastries; doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
- Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products; stocks dry products.
- Develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity.
- Trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry; performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays.
- Maintains all production modules in the Datapax system; adheres to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; participates in required trainings and meetings.
- Provides excellent customer service, answers phones and pages promptly and courteously; supports sales through effective prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
- Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, safe work practices; maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards and violations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
