Position- Operational Risk Management

Pay Range-$55- $60 Hour

Location : McLean, VA, fully onsite

Assignment Type : Contract Only

Must Have Qualifications :

5+ years of experience with a background in Operational Risk Management and Governance. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. MS Excel skills. Good attention to detail. Ability to produce concise, detailed and insightful documents. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Job Description :

The contract worker will assist the Risk & Control Manager to deliver the following :

• Identify and assess relevant risks in a business.
• Identify, develop, and document appropriate controls that mitigate risks to the acceptable level
• Assist in preparation and documentation for Quarterly Risk Control Self-Assessments for relevant business areas
• Assist in assessing backlog of Compliance obligations that includes completing assessments and identifying and mapping applicable controls
• Assist in activities related to transition to the new GRC Tool
