We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with at least one year of experience in IT support and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will assist end-users with technical issues, focusing on providing exceptional customer service and efficient problem resolution.
Responsibilities :
- Respond promptly to user inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to Windows 11 and other supported systems.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Document and track all service requests and resolutions in the system to ensure accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and implement improvements.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripheral devices as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and IT procedures during troubleshooting and system updates.
- Offer remote or in-person support based on the severity of the issue.
- Educate users on best practices for system usage and security protocols.
- Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
- Stay updated on new technologies and system updates to enhance support capabilities.
- At least 1 year of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 11 operating system.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with users and team members.
- Familiarity with hardware and software installation processes.
- Ability to document issues and resolutions accurately.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and system security.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
