Strategic Account Development Specialist — Industrial Staffing

A Day in the Role
You kick off the morning reviewing fresh leads from marketing, mapping your territory, and prioritizing high-potential accounts. By mid-day, you’re connecting with decision-makers across operations, HR, and marketing—via LinkedIn, phone, email, and face-to-face meetings—to uncover workforce needs and propose tailored solutions. In the afternoon, you partner with recruiters to translate client requirements into precise talent searches, shape proposals and RFP responses with internal teams, and maintain a healthy pipeline. You close the day by logging progress, tracking quotas, and planning follow-ups that deepen relationships and drive repeat and referral business.
What You’ll Achieve
- Consistently generate qualified leads from marketing campaigns and proactive outreach.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships from first contact through the full sales cycle.
- Meet and exceed revenue goals while growing gross margin and headcount within client accounts.
Responsibilities You’ll Own
Identify, pursue, and win new business through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building.Leverage social media, online tools, and professional networks to develop high-quality opportunities.Maintain a robust, accurate pipeline across assigned accounts and territory.Deliver end-to-end, needs-based solutions that address client goals.Present company capabilities and clear value propositions to stakeholders and executives.Collaborate with internal teams to craft proposals, develop RFP responses, and shape strategic sales plans.Partner closely with recruiters to understand job requirements and ensure top-tier talent delivery.Share market intelligence, including staffing trends in the digital marketing and creative space.Prospect via cold calls, emails, and in-person networking events.Stay current on local market dynamics and staffing industry developments.Promote long-term engagement through exceptional client care, timely follow-up, and service excellence.What You Bring
2–5 years in business development; experience in industrial staffing strongly preferred.Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.Outstanding interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation abilities.Proven social selling skills (e.g., LinkedIn) and comfort with professional platforms.Track record of building a book of business from the ground up.High standards for customer service and relationship management.Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization.Leadership qualities and a collaborative approach across teams.Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC applications.Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.Strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Benefits Include
